Is my slate roof worth saving?
Often, yes. Good-quality natural slate can outlast several sets of nails. Many "failing" slate roofs actually have sound slates held on by rusted nails. In that case, stripping, re-battening and re-hanging the original slates on new fixings gives the roof another long life. We'll give you an honest view after inspecting it.
How much does slate roofing cost?
The cost depends on the type of slate, whether existing slates can be reused, the size and complexity of the roof, and access. Slate repairs can be quite modest. Heritage re-slating is specialist work. Either way, you get a free written quote, and our prices are always fair and reasonable.
